Background Check Services |
On March 21, 2007, Mayor Menino signed an Executive Order regarding security staff at nightclubs and bars in the City of Boston. This order states that all applicants for security staff positions must provide authorization for a background check. In order for an establishment to renew their licenses in 2008, they must provide proof of and an explanation of how they conduct background checks for all current security personnel, including those hired before the Executive Order of March, 21, 2007. Those convicted of certain listed crimes may not be employed as security staff.
